Coordinator — Illinois
When I look back two things have motivated me to work with special needs children and their families. First, it was a kindergartener who could not talk. This student prompted me to further my education to find the answers. The second thing was a mom of a child with autism who said, “Thank you for changing my son’s life.” Her words inspired me to change the outcomes of special needs students and their families.
My educational background consists of a bachelor’s degree in special education from Western Illinois University. I completed a master’s program in communication disorders at Northwestern University. My expertise is in the areas of learning disabilities, diagnostics, and instruction.
My hobbies and interests include family, friends, gardening, traveling, walking the dog, and reading.
