Fearfully and Wonderfully Made Student Fearless About His Future!

In early 2018, we met Elijah, an 8th grade student at Trinity Lutheran School in Tinley Park, Illinois. His parents, Janelle and Jeff Floerke, know that his passion for sports helps him excel in school, and chose Trinity because it was a great environment for him to excel at both and deepen his faith in the Lord.

This year has been exciting as Elijah completed his last year at Trinity and got confirmed this spring. Sharing his faith with the world has always been very important for Elijah, so this was a very special moment for him. He also received the Stewardship award from his 8th grade class, and competed in the state track meet and other sports this spring. This summer, he plans to lead a “Basket of Hope” project and continue volunteering in his community.

Ethan is entering high school confident in his future success. His mom, Janelle, reports, “he is so grateful for all his amazing extra support [from LSEM]- he enjoyed watching his achievement scores get better over time because of more practice & truly working harder to understand where his strengths & weaknesses really were.”
