Mindy English, Lutheran Special Education Ministries’ new Director of Programs and Services, joins the podcast to talk about her new role and her background in special education. A Lutheran educator for over 30 years, Mindy spent a great majority of them as a resource room teacher at LSEM.

Our commitment to this mission began with the opening of the Lutheran School for the Deaf in Detroit. Over the years our ministry has expanded and today LSEM is proud to serve in Lutheran schools across the county. But as our ministry has grown, our commitment to helping students succeed academically in an environment where they can also grow spiritually is as strong as ever.
