Mindy English – Director of Programs & Services

Mindy English is LSEM’s Director of Programs and Services. Lutheran Schools are not new to Mindy, as she was born and raised in Ft. Wayne, IN, and went through Lutheran schools all the way through High School. She went to Purdue University to earn her Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis on Special Education. She later earned a Master of Education Degree from Indiana Wesleyan in Special Education with Exceptional Needs and Mild Intervention.

She has more than 30 years of teaching experience, starting out in public schools ranging from working with Infants as a Developmental Therapist, Inclusionary Preschool Teacher, to a K-5 Special Needs Teacher. She came home to the Lutheran schools and has spent over two decades teaching as a K-8 Resource Room Teacher for LSEM, Orton-Gillingham Tutor, and Kindergarten Teacher in various Lutheran Schools in the Fort Wayne area.

Mindy resides in Fremont, IN, with her husband on Big Otter Lake and enjoys it when her three children and their families come up to swim and boat on the lake.
