Kristi Michalski – Director of Finance
As Director of Finance at LSEM, Kristi is responsible for managing the Ministry’s financial operations which include budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting and analysis, audit preparation, cash management, and process improvements. Her educational background and extensive corporate experience have prepared her for this leadership role.
Kristi was born and raised in West Bloomfield, Michigan and earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University in 1990, with double majors in Finance and Business Management. Before joining the LSEM team in 2013, Kristi spent over 23 years working in the commercial real estate and supply chain management industries, building a solid foundation within for-profit organizations. Kristi has enjoyed her transition into non-profit Ministry at LSEM which has allowed her to expand her leadership skills while having the opportunity to serve God’s children.
Outside of her professional responsibilities at LSEM, Kristi values time with her family, including her son Jake, sister Karen, and nieces Alex and Clara. She currently resides in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
