What People Are Saying About LSEM

A game changer

“LSEM has been a ‘game changer’ for our daughter’s learning. Not only is she getting the help she needs but is learning strategies that will last a lifetime!”

Experts in the field

“After having LSEM as our ‘experts in the field’ in two schools that I have been associated with, I can truly say that our students have benefited in great ways. We have been able to enroll and serve kids that we otherwise may not have been able to reach.”

Rich Brune, Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church & School — Fort Wayne, IN

Shining the light of Jesus to students

Our Savior is blessed to have Mrs. Shanna Davis (LSEM) partner with students and faculty each and every school day. She has been a tremendous resource for our school ministry. She exhibits each of her gifts on a daily basis. Her single best trait is being an advocate for students. Whether individuals or small groups of students, Mrs. Davis provides a learning atmosphere for students with needs, be it academic, social, and emotional. Her devotion to her craft is appreciated by her peers as she oversees our DIBELS assessments (K-3) and coordinates learning and behavior plans for students of all ages within her service capabilities. She wisely uses a network of educational colleagues and developed great relationships with our local public school special education programs. Personally, I cannot count the number of times I have consulted with Mrs. Davis for student services, prospective student needs, or professional teaching methods for our staff.

On multiple occasions over the past three years Mrs. Davis has worked closely with particular students who are no longer enrolled in our school due to their graduation or needed transition to another school for more servicing. Previously we were able to serve their learning and emotional needs. She had formed a great bond with these two students that stretched over multiple years. There were definitely diffcult and challenging times for her, for us, for our school. Yet her faith and her love for serving children (who became young people) never wavered. Remarkably, Mrs. Davis remains in contact and receives updates on the students and their families from time to time.

Lastly, and most importantly, Mrs. Davis shines the light of Jesus to students and parents. She shares, teaches, and leads young people to give their best when at times they don’t think they can.

We thank God for the opportunity to serve students and families as we collectively Learn, Live, and Share…Christ through school ministry at Our Savior.

God bless LSEM and the services you provide for our Lutheran schools.
