Kathy Krause – Programs & Services Consultant

Kathy has served numerous roles throughout her years of ministry with LSEM. Currently she serves as the Programs and Services Consultant.
Collegial education began at University of Michigan with completion of her Bachelor of Science in Education (K-12, Special Education, with endorsements in Early Childhood and Home/Hospital) at Wayne State University followed by a Master of Education (Learning Disabilities) also from Wayne State University.
Teaching experiences range from Preschool to Elementary to University (as a Wayne State Adjunct Instructor) in both public and Lutheran education. Kathy has spent many years as a supervisor encouraging and assisting LSEM teachers to enable students with educational challenges to be successful in their Christian schools.
Honors include Women of Wayne Headline Award as well as Administrator of the Year for Michigan District 2002.
While Kathy’s professional focus has been representing LSEM, the teaching staff and students, her greatest love is her family of two daughters (sons-in-law) and three granddaughters all in “helping” professions. She resides in Shelby Township, Michigan.
