Has it started to feel like Summer for you yet? It has certainly started to warm up here in Michigan. As we look forward to Summer, LSEM is going to share a new kind of story with you. We’re calling them our “Summer Shorts” and they will officially launch later this month.

These shorts will be stories, videos, and updates for you – giving you a glimpse into the life of LSEM during the summer season. School may have wrapped up and our students get to enjoy a break, but LSEM is preparing for the next school year. It should be an especially eventful few months because our national office is moving to a new location!

Summer is going to look different this year – for all of us. Across the country, states are slowly starting to reopen after a long hiatus full of stay-at-home and shelter-in-place restrictions as we fought (and continue to fight) the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the major adjustments was seen in education as school buildings closed and teachers shifted their classes to be taught online.

This video is a glimpse of what LSEM national office staff have seen and learned during our time of adjusting to working at home.

What have you learned? We have been kind to one another as we all struggled together to adjust to the initial life-style changes. And grace is still needed in the months to come. Please keep LSEM in your prayers as we spend this season preparing to make sure our students are educated and supported in the safest, healthiest way possible.
